1. How can one enroll in the Course at KLA?

Enrolling in our comprehensive classroom course and becoming a part of KLA Family is very simple. You can either visit our office in Mukherjee Nagar or Nirman Vihar. You can reach us at 8929514009

The classes are conducted in KLA in all Offline, Online and Hybrid mode.

The classes are conducted 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday). The time slot depends on the Batch you choose (Morning /Afternoon).

Yes, special GK/GS classes are conducted at KLA. Comprehensive material covering History, Geography, Science and Economics are also provided. Upon the notification of the vacancies, special GK/GS capsules are also provided to our students.

 

The fees for the Comprehensive Offline Course is Rs. 1,85,000/- and for the Online Course is Rs. 1,50,000/-.

Yes, special classes for Hindi and English are conducted at KLA. Translations Booklet are also provided to the students.

The Course duration is 18 months.

Yes, KLA have its own publications in the name of KARAT Publications. The books can be ordered from any of our centers or can be purchased from any renowned law book store.

The Judicial Services Examination is conducted in three stages, namely Preliminary (Objective based), Mains (Subjective based) and Interview. The Preliminary Examination is only qualifying in nature. The final marks includes the marks obtained in the mains examination and the interview.

The age limit to appear in the Judicial Services Examination varies from State to State. Generally, for the Lower Judicial Services Examination (Civil Judge) the age limit is 35 years. However, the threshold is 40 years in Rajasthan and Haryana.

  1. Can a final year student appear for the judicial services examination?

Generally, to appear for the judicial services examination, a student is required to be a law graduate. However, there are some States like Rajasthan which allow the final year students to sit for the examination. However, upon selection and at the time of appointment, a student is required to hold a law degree.

Generally, there are no maximum number of attempts. A candidate can attempt an exam as many times till he reaches the maximum age limit. However, Uttar Pradesh has 4 maximum attempts.

In all Hindi speaking States, the Judicial Services Examination is conducted in both English and Hindi languages. However, Delhi, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services are conducted only in English language. In other States, the examination is also conducted in the regional language of the State.

Yes, a practicing Advocate can appear for Judicial Services Examination. There is no such bar. However, to appear in Higher Judicial Services minimum 7 years of practice is required

No, as of today, All India Judiciary Examination is not implemented in India.
